Workpiece machining
maximal precision
in any position
Roxor enables automatic all-over processing of workpieces. The tools can be moved with maximum precision into just about any position in relation to the workpiece surface. Automatic change of tools enables an uninterrupted peening process.
The tools are moved around by means of modern industrial robots for the highest flexibility and, at the same time, with very little manipulation required. Depending on the dimensions of the workpiece, and the requirements of production, the peening machine can be fitted with one or more of these robots in a standing or hanging position and additional linear movements.
For very simple jet nozzle movements, CNC-controlled linear axes can be used in combination with the turntable – for example, for stationary or rotating internal peening lances.
The Roxor modular system offers unique and dependable solutions for fitting and moving of peening jet nozzles appropriate to the process, in the case of highly-automated peening processes.
The turntable is the usual way to hold a workpiece. Diameter and fittings for clamping or holding devices on the table are determined by Roxor depending on the customer’s requirements. Depending on the degree of accuracy required, and the dimensions of the workpiece, we provided several different models for the motor and position monitoring.
Table movement is controlled as an additional robotic axis. In this way, movements to and fro can be synchronized. Roxor peening machines can be produced in special versions with, for example, satellite or double turntables. For horizontal rotation of workpieces, wave-beam devices or other special versions are available.
