Roxor circulation of shot media ensures that critical process parameters are maintained while using shot media economically and excluding unsuitable particles
CONTINUAL PRESSURE BLASTING SYSTEM WITH DOSAGE
Roxor’s continual blasting system guarantees an uninterrupted blasting process. Narrow tolerances of shot media throughput and process pressure can be maintained over very long sequences. The blasting system is fitted with sturdy built-in pressure vessels and can be extended for up to five dosages. These can be brought to bear either in sequence or in parallel and can be used with different throughput quantities where required.
Roxor dosages, due to their minimal variance over a wide range of settings, are generally considered as “best in class”.
Recycling of shot media
Roxor blasting machines are known for their economical handling of shot media: residues of shot and undesired mixture of shot types during media change are prevented to a great extent.
For recycling from the cabin floor, depending on choice, an air stream or – especially with coarse-grained shot – conveyor belts can be used. Cyclone or impact separators, depending on output or shot-media requirements, ensure the longest use can be got out of the shot media.
Preparation of shot media
Recycled shot media may, depending on the process, contained undesireable foreign bodies, which are voided out using a series of devices depending on the application. Roxor preparation of shot media consists of modules to
- separate the air stream from shot media
- void used-up shot media and foreign particles
- void damaged shot particles
- void magnetic particles from non-iron shot media
- separate shot of different diameters
The Roxor storage containers for shot media are constantly monitored as to their filling level. The operator is alerted to refill them at the right time.
